Here's the scoop on Nusrat Fateh-Ali-Khan.........
He is an Indian sitar player and singer. I think he plays the tabla to.
Anyway, my dad is Indian and listens to a lot of his music. He gets his
friends to mail him CD's from overseas. If anyone is interested, Ali-Khan
did the soundtrack for that movie "Dead Man Walking", which had Susan
Sarandon and Sean Penn in it. The last song on the movie (and the
soundtrack) is a kick ass song that Khan does with Eddie Vedder! No
kidding, check it out. It's kind of moving in an emo sort of way. *bets he
catches hell for that one*
