I didnt really get into SDRE untill a few months ago when a friend sent me an mp3
of 47. The thing was I always knew of them since like around 1994 I guess, I
didnt really get into them because I was turned off by the name. I dont know, I
kind of regret not getting into them back then, but I was just dumb and 16. It's
funny how I did the same thing to Pavement. I love SDRE and Pavement now. I
purchased HIFTBSO after xmas and cant stop listening to it. Better late then
never eh? I tried to get my radio station to play In Circles but they insist on
playing Korn, Limp Bizkit, and countless other crappy bands that rule the top 40
now a days.

It's weird I was driving with my father somewhere and I made a SDRE tape of songs
to listen to while I am driving and he commented on how Jeremy Enigk sounds like
John Lennon, and I told him that I read somwhere that Jeremy practices singing
like Lennon sometimes. He thought that was pretty cool and I thought it was cool
how my dad noticed it. My dad is a diehard Beatles fan.
