I believe that I remember reading somewhere, though I can't remember where, that HIFTBSO had many songs left off of the album. That the band just jammed and got some really kick ass songs, and that they would use these for the next album. If anyone has looked at Dan's response to the timebomb message board, it sounds like the jamming process took a new form when they became a three piece. And now they have 25 things that came out of their jamming sessions, 11 included on the album. So what I'm wondering is, did they scrap the HIFTBSO left over songs, or where this songs saved for a later date. Or are these songs on this album, but reworked?
