i agree that jeremy's singing style is probably one thing that holds them back 
from widespread acceptance among other things.  look at rush for example.  they 
have a pretty big following, myself included, but their only major radioplay is 
from tom sawyer, a song in which geddy tends to sing in a lower pitch from his 
usual shrills.  everyone seems to agree that when it comes to technical ability, 
they have very few equals, but the way they (lead vocals) choose to be heard, as 
with SDRE, it is not necessarily pleasing to the ears of most.  nonetheless, i 
have to commend them on their unwillingness to compromise their standards and 
style, just to appease the masses.  love live sdre (and rush!!).
