Telaeris is looking for a Rails Developer. We are located in San Diego, CA

Job Responsibilities:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
o Design, develop & architect web applications using Ruby on Rails (and
more)
o Database Management / Query optimization
o Linux Server System Admin
o Help scale systems to support user growth
o Comfort working with large amounts of data a plus
o Work closely with our team to contribute to the direction of products
o Focus on new development, with sprinkling of maintenance work on legacy
apps

Ideal Employee Requirements and Experience (Yours may vary)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
o 3+ years of web application development experience, including full
production life cycle
o Significant expertise with Ruby on Rails
o HTML/CSS design knowledge
o Experience with Javascript(JQuery, Prototype, ExtJS), AJAX, XML, and JSON
o Comfortable in the command line of *nix systems
o Experience with Linux Webserver Administration (Redhat/CentOS/Ubuntu)
o Experience with Apache / Passenger
o Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server)
o Experience with Versioning systems, preferably SVN
o Naturally curious, highly organized, and love problem solving
o Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to troubleshoot a problem when solutions are not found online
o Comfortable deploying conplex web sites using Capistrano and Vlad
