Great thread!! We've used central loggin with Syslog-ng, Loggly and just now starting to look at Graylog. While I liked Loggly, the search was not as robust as we would have liked. We don't have the budget for something like Splunk, but man it looks cool. I'll post about Graylog once we have it up and running.
