Hey Ruby Community, My name is Matt and I'm a recruiter. I hate to bug anyone (I realize recruiters in general have a bad rep), but I wanted to throw it out there that I'm hiring 2-3 ruby developers, anywhere from entry/mid level to Director/Architect level. My client is located in Marina del Rey and the interview process will be less than two weeks long.
*I operate independently, so I aim to make this an easy process for you. Contact me for further questions at [email protected] *In the meantime, check out more info:* I'm looking for a Sr Engineer/Architect (wherever you fit in) for a position available in Marina Del Rey with a cool startup. You’ll be architecting and designing scalable, reliable and secure web applications that will support millions of users. It will also be important that you play well with others because you’ll be working closely with their friends (i.e. third party partners) on integration and migration projects. *Basic Overview (just a guideline- not all skills necessary!!):* - Minimum 2-3 years experience with Ruby required (be able to show work) - Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems. - Manage the full lifecycle of the project, monitoring research, reviewing code and supervising any testing - Perform requirements analysis, design, code, test, and maintain software. - Support and improve established software development standards and best practices. - Interface with key stakeholders in Project Management, Business and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget. - Knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns - Knowledge of re-factoring with unit/functional tests, and SQL query optimization - Knowledge of scripting languages including PHP, Perl, C, C++, etc. - BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (4+ years) Cheers, Matt Principal @Searchly (510) 586-7333 [email protected] -- -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SD Ruby" group.
