Hi Brett,
I tend to tell folks to come to SDRuby and talk to the people there about what
they need. Finding technical co-founders is very hard, simply from a supply and
demand point of view. Some of us (Notch8 being an example of this) offer
consulting to help bridge the gap until a cofounder can come on. In my opinion
it is better to have some one technical fully vested and on the team, but that
ideal situation isn't always available right at the get-go and that doesn't
mean a great idea should sit on the shelf until they are.  You can still get
started and move forward, and sometimes doing so gives you the connections you
need to find that someone.

Best,
Rob

Hi all,

I get questions from time to time on how a person would go about hiring someone
to develop an app. When I don't volunteer myself or this group, I struggle to
think of resources.
What have some of you given as an answer to that question when it comes from
someone who doesn't have a technical background?

Thanks for your ideas,
