Hi, I am Enrico Italian/Australian living in Sydney. I recently visited San Diego and Santa Monica and would like to move there!
I'be been working with Ruby and Rails since 2005, the other language I used professionally is Javascript. In my last company I was team lead of a small group of 4 devs. Apart from developing tasks included running stand ups, gathering requirements from product owners/stakeholders and converting them in to stories, setting up wiki and facilitate development for the rest of the team (automatic prod to staging transitions, engine templates). The project we were working on was a memory game framework, the backend was built in RoR and the frontend which would instantiate the games in JS and canvas. The app domain was quite complex and we knew from its start it would be ongoing for 10 months so I broke up the domain logic layer from the application layer in to Rails engines. I like to use small Ruby gems instead of big libraries (i.e. warden vs. devise), here's a list of books I've read during the years: http://teotti.com/work/reading/ And this is my linked in profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/agenteo I don't contribute to any open source project but my github has some code pairing exercises you might want to have a look at: https://github.com/agenteo/dictionary_extraction https://github.com/agenteo/reporting_system I am willing to relocate to San Diego or Santa Monica. I am currently in NYC, will fly to London this Thu Nov 28th. I am an Australian citizen, the E3 visa process is like the one for Canadians. I am looking for a company following agile methodologies, that value clear code and good communication. Please reply to me directly or call me on 9173742914 Cheers!
