Hello, Found this list through sdruby.org and thought I would give it a try.
We are in small business in Encinitas but we have clients worldwide. Our main business website (brainhighways.com) was written using the cakephp framework 4+ years ago. It badly needs updates, modernization, and reorganization, but finding ANY cake developer, let alone local, is nearly impossible. And I try to find local people when I can. So, I am very seriously considering a complete rewrite in Ruby, I want something that will still be supported 5+ years from now. The existing site has a custom backend that is specific to the way we do business. It's not real involved, but it is important and we would want to duplicate that functionality. Also, the existing site uses a cms package for many of the pages so that our staff can handle the content changes. We would also want to duplicate that functionality. In general, we know what we want, we have the content, and we are ready to go, and we want to get this done now. If you are interested in working with us please fire off an email to me.
