Hey, I was trying to log-in to sdruby.org to suggest a talk and got a 500 with the standard rails error!
Anyway, I was going to suggest that I can give a talk on “Practical Unix for Ruby & Rails Development” and talk about the unix-y tools that are useful for everyday programming: Finding files (find), finding stuff within files (grep, ack, ag), piping output from one process to the next (|), massaging output (tr, cut, awk), execute from a list (xargs) and how to find out more (man). Let me know if that would be of interest. -- Ylan Segal [email protected] -- -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SD Ruby" group.
