Hey-

We've recently recruited a few Ruby developers here in San Diego
(Hillcrest). I'm happy to discuss our experience, my impression of the So.
Cal. job market based on candidate feedback, talking to recruiters, etc.
and compensation. Generally, I think entry level Ruby is paid lower in San
Diego than both SF (probably obvious) and LA. Similarly there are fewer
entry level openings (adjusting for city size). For senior+ experience I
know that salaries here can be very competitive and, agreeing with the
others, actually better once you factor in cost of living.

Actually, we're still hiring ...

No strings attached of course if you want to get in touch to talk by phone
on any details, just drop me an email.
