Here's what we have in store for the last talks of 2014. Just a reminder
that there won't be a January 1st meet up. I am taking suggestions on where
to do a mid January drink up though.

NETWORK OF BIOTHINGS AND CIVIC
Jon Christensen will talk about his experience at the recent “Network of
Biothings” hackathon held on the UCSD campus and discuss the open source
CIViC project he hacked on that is looking for one or two rails
contributors that might like to help cure cancer.

IS THAT A RUBY IN YOUR BROWSERS?
Wish your Ruby code could run in the browser, instead of the lastest
HipsterScript™? Meet Opal, a Ruby to JavaScript transpiler, and build
end-to-end applications in pure Ruby. Brad Spaulding will give us the low
down.

RAFFLE
We'll be giving away a few ebooks, software licenses, etc!

AFTERPARTY
After the meeting, we'll head over to Rock Bottom Brewery for a round or
two of drinks sponsored by TEKsystems.

....

DIRECTIONS
Meeting are held on the UCSD campus, at 7:30pm, on the first Thursday of
the month. If you plan to drive, follow the directions below and make sure
to get a parking pass.

SPEAK AT THE NEXT MEETING
Wanna talk at our next meeting? Have a topic you want someone else to talk
about? Post a proposal to SDRuby.org. We'll get you on the books.
