tl;dl: Signup at San Diego RailsBridge Workshop for Women
<https://www.bridgetroll.org/events/141> and RailsBridge San Diego Volunteer
Meeting & Teacher Training <https://www.bridgetroll.org/events/142>

As most of you are probably aware by now, Lisa, Rob, Chelsea, and I are
organizing another RailsBridge Workshop for Women in just 3 weeks! Two years
ago, the first San Diego RailsBridge was great, with about a dozen volunteers
helping teach 40+ students the basics of Rails, in a day-and-a-half workshop
format.

We need volunteers again! Help us expand diversity in our community by reaching
our to women who want to learn Rails. The number of teachers and TA’s is the
main limiting factor on the number of students we can handle. We’d like to see
more volunteers than last time.

You do need to know some Rails to volunteer, but you do not need to be an
expert by any means. “Rails is my day job” makes you an expert in this context.
I’m a developer, but I have only worked on some Rails projects on the side
makes you a good candidate for a TA role.

Schedule for volunteers:
Tuesday, March 3, 7pm. Volunteers’ Meeting
Friday, March 6, starting at 6pm until we are done (probably 9pm), and
Saturday, March 7, 9am-4:30pm with optional after gathering
        Both sessions at co-merge, 330 A St., 92101

Signup:
Please sign up for both events in BridgeTroll:
