looking for a talented Ruby/Rails developer who has full-stack experience building and scaling out a SaaS platform. You'll be part of a small team of developers to identify new technologies and techniques to improve our application. You will get to play a significant role in development and design of our e-learning portals. Responsibilities: • Work with the product manager, designer, and other developers to specify the system architecture, database design, and development estimates for the features • Responsible for unit testing and quality assurance Required Experience: • 3+ years as a software engineer/developer in an Object Oriented language • 1+ years Ruby on Rails experience, API design, and related technologies • A solid understanding of the MVC architecture • Understanding of the Github workflow • Experience with Ruby, Javascript (jQuery), Postgres, HTML/CSS • Experience with CoffeeScript, Haml & Sass a plus. • Familiar deploying and maintaining systems on Heroku/Amazon Web Services Key Competencies: • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum) • Love of clear, elegant, extensible design and clean, well-documented code • Attention to detail and consistently meets project milestones
