*Full Stack Ruby Architect/Lead*
*CTH* *San Diego* An exciting StartUp in San Diego is looking to add a Full Stack Ruby Lead/Architect. They have a proprietary line of auto-tracking robotic cameras, which began as a way Surfers could film their activity and has evolved. They have an office in the Bay Area and are already very profitable. It's an exciting time to join as this company just received their keys to a newly formed San Diego office and looking to scale up! They already grew from around 15-35 employees and looking to be around 60-70 by the end of the year. Their software is mimicking Instagram/borrowing a lot of their best practices. Basically, it involves the web, mobile, and backend where all the data is stored (likes, pictures, comments). The Full Stack Developer do end to end development. This person muct have experience integrating web front end with backend services in Ruby. They need top talent for this and willing to compensate accordingly, as well as offer equity. *Job Responsibilities* - Work with UX Designers, Web Architects and other Developers to build consumer Web applications that deliver both live streaming and onÂdemand video content. - Integrate Web apps with RESTful web services including our own, as well as other common social media platforms. - Design and build consumer scale Web applications that are reliable, and easy to use.. - Collaborate both in person and remotely with other developers and stakeholders on Web application design and user experience *Minimum Requirements* - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field required. - Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience required. - 5+ years of experience developing Web applications. - Experience using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. - Experience integrating Web front ends with back end services built on Ruby - Solid understanding ofREST and SOAP - High level understanding of web application frameworks and web service integration - Proficiency with SQL, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL databases and query optimizations - Experience working within an Agile software development process, particularly Scrum - Experience with source code management using GIT code repositories, and managing multiple code branches - Familiarity with common social media video platforms - Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases - Talented and passionate about new technologies and web/cloud/mobile ecosystems *Preferred Skills* - Video demand/streaming experience If you would like more information, please reply back!
