EDI is kind of like XML. Just because a library can parse it, doesn't make 
it useful. You'll need to find out what EDI standard has been adopted at 
the other end. If it's US based, it's probably one of the ANSI X12 
varieties. If it's overseas, you're looking for EDIFACT. There's also a 
good chance that it's none of the above. Worse case scenario it's *sort of* 
one of the above, but not really. Never seen an EDI project go 100% 
according to plan, so load your project scope with a qualifier. If the 
publisher of the EDI documents says they use a specific standard, put that 
in your scope, and make sure everyone knows the moment you uncover 
discrepancies.
