Remote is an option for California-based candidates. *Your responsibilities* We’re looking for a Full-time Senior Ruby Developer to contribute to building our core product. As we grow, you will have the chance to work on every aspect of an evolving product, from scaling existing features to extending and building exciting, new features. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our loyal customers and their happiness. *Your qualifications* - Deep understanding and real-world experience building and maintaining complex Ruby On Rails applications, with PostgreSQL & Sidekiq. - Proven ability to jump into an established codebase and make meaningful contributions immediately, as well as to learn new programming skills quickly. - Strong background in building a RESTful API and integrating external APIs. - Proficiency with front-end development languages & libraries including HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery & ReactJS. - Track record of writing well-tested code with RSpec and Capybara. - Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines including product, engineering, customer service & marketing, and ability to structure thoughts clearly & succinctly in written form for consumption in an asynchronous workplace environment. - Bonus: experience building complex user interfaces for web (with ReactJS) and/or mobile applications (iOS & Android) and/or DevOps skills (preferably with AWS). *Your competencies* We value efficiency, integrity, attention to detail, effective communication, and following through on commitments.
