The cold must have kept a good number of people from showing up, but
with one buddy I was good to go. It sure was cold, with the wind
blowing down the slopes.
Entry was easy, the low tide made it for a short swim to the
buoy. Visibility was a little milky, not as nice as it was over the
weekend, but still enjoyable. We spotted 3 Caspers, not too bad
average for only 2 divers. The sand was teeming with life, shrimps,
small crabs were all over. In the shallows a good number of small
batrays were running around. Little deeper over the sand we saw a tiny
octopus that seemed to be more or less at the mercies of the surge
than in control of his own destination.
Sergio's favorite kamikaze fish swam around, but didn't hurt us much
beyond checking us out. I guess they must be after the Italian
seasoning. :)
