As I have tested this functionality, I would vote for H2 as the default
database. Since current HSQLDB 1.8.x is not JDBC 4 compliant and it is not
embedded in AS7, I wouldn't consider using hsqldb as the default user "easiest"
way to deploy new project with persistence.
