I am having the same issue. Thanks to Roberto for describing the source of the
problem. I can verify that I am seeing the same behaviour regarding the
classloader in ServiceLoader.loadServiceFiles() (Seam 3.1.0.Final + JBoss
AS7.1.0.Final).
While I agree that deploying the WAR separately will work and is appropriate in
many cases, EARs still represent a convenient, easily transferable and
completely legitimate form of packaging. Will this issue be resolved going
forward?
