Also, if it is signed by platform key, it would be automatic grouped in
the platform_app, right? I'm not sure why we need to give Google app
special treatment. Can't we treat Google app like any vendor apps?

Which ones are signed with the platform key? On my Nexus 7 running
4.3 all gapps are running as untrusted_app and on my GS4 running TW
4.2.2 all gapps are running as untrusted_app. Note that I'm not
vouching for the quality of either of these policies.

I'm seeing ConfigUpdater.apk, GoogleBackupTransport.apk and Stk.apk on
my maguro.

Although, I will say that I noticed that the mac_permissions.xml file on
those factory images are wrong.

Yea, I looked at ps -Z instead of mac_permissions.xml. I also forgot that they resigned all the apk's without fixing up the mac_permissions so everything runs as untrusted_app on 4.3 (doh).
