Your KConfig can disable printing printk statements over uart. I am not sure offhand what the kernel config option is that controls this offhand. Once logd is running, it acts as the audit daemon and recieves messages from the kernel via a netlink socket and writes them to logcat. Initially I had an auditd implementation for Android, prior to the logd approach, that "grepped" the kmsg buffer on startup to put them into the audit logs, I don't think that followed for the logd implementation. > > > Thanks. > ------------------------------ > This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and > may contain confidential information.
