Hi everyone, I would like to present to you the new version of SEAL (SEAndroid Live Device Analysis), a tool that we have been developing at Aalto University as part of the Intel Collaborative Research Institute for Secure Computing (ICRI-SC) <http://www.icri-sc.org>. We released v1 last June, and we are now adding support for Android 6 and preliminary support for the Android N Preview.
You can find the tool and documentation at https://github.com/seandroid-analytics/seal The tool has the same functionality it had in v1. It works on a live Android device (or emulator), connected via adb; it can list all files/processes on the device, and perform some queries. Types of queries currently supported: - given a certain process name (or PID), display all the files (and access types) that this process can access on the target device - given a certain file/path, show a list of processes that have any type of access to this file/path Let us know if you would like some functionality to be added to the tool, or if you have troubles or bug reports. Best regards, Filippo
