if you have already entered text and then you want to left/right align
the same, you will have to select the text first and then issue the
appropriate command. Otherwise you must press the command first and
then begin entering text.

I have a problem. i.e, the alignment command keys (ctrl r and ctrl l remains 
unmoved even after the text is selected and the alignment command is given.
