Re: Can't get TSM client 5.3.2.0 API to install on Solaris system
Thanks to all the suggestions on resolving this issue. It turned out to be a corrupt download from the IBM FTP site. I redownloaded it and it now installs completely. However, I still haven't figured out how we could have unzipped and untarred a "corrupt" file without errors. Now comes the next part of this adventure. If the user goes into the command-line client/prompt (i.e. just enters DSMC) and then does a QUIT, it core-dumps ! You can do a DSMC INCREMENTAL just fine. Any thoughts on this ? It looks like a bad download/copy. If you downloaded it, try downloading it again, and check the filesizes between source and target carefully after the download. -- Mark Stapleton ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) -- Electronic Privacy Notice.
