Here is the screen shot of my recent cases. One is the original application
and another one is sent when 3 full business days are over as mentioned in
the new token application form.

Developer token access level

2023-05-04 Thread gowtham ben mythdre
Hi there,

We are building an in-house custom web portal to integrate with the API to
generate client-specific custom reports with certain metrics like
impressions, clicks, CTR, etc. Since we are planning to publish the web
portal to the public on a subscription basis, we require basic/further
access for our developer token to use in production.

After requesting for access upgrade, the support team was told to check
with community support and/or the help forum.

Can someone direct me on the right path?

Thanks in advance.

Re: get customer id - php v13 google ads

2023-05-04 Thread Jessica Villa
The issue is not the log, is to know if there is possible to retrieve the
*customer.id* having only the *ad_group_id*
doing the* $query* and using *search()* like this:
*$googleAdsServiceClient->search(**$query);*

or something, in the examples couldn't find something about it

Thank you!

Re: when are the historical metrics available?

2023-05-04 Thread Markus Heiden
Hi,

I am aware of the fact that the data is not available yet.
But is there any documentation on when the data will be available exactly?
Or an API that provides that information?
Otherwise programmatic access would be a bit unreliable.

Best regards,
Markus

Re: why the google ads api doesn't provide data for countries shown in the ui?

2023-05-04 Thread Chad Wood
I'll compile this info and send it. How again do I enable logging with the
Python library?

For any future comers, I found a workaround by creating the report in the
Google Ads Report Editor interface and scheduling that report to get
emailed to me in .csv format in the timing interval I need. I think connect
to the email server through IMAP protocol and locate the correct email by
subject and date. Following, I locate a download link in the email and send
a request to that link. The response is the encoded UI data, and I just
decode it from there for use in the ETL pipeline.

Re: user type external vs internal and publishing status

2023-05-04 Thread Kirankumar Yenugutala
Hi team,

Thank you so much for responding on this.

Could you please provide additional information about the behaviours, such
as how people can access the *APP* depending on whether we choose an
*internal* or *external* *user type*. for instance, if we choose *internal*,
all *users with access to the Google cloud project *would be able to
utilise the app *with / without authorization*. Similar to that, if we
choose external as the user type, anyone with a *Gmail account *can access
the app without authorization.

kindly provide me an explanation from the standpoint of APP security.

Re: google ads api developer token request

2023-05-04 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Ismaël,

Thank you for coming back to us and for an update. I hope you are doing well
today.

Please note that with regards to concerns related to the granting and approval
process of these tokens are already outside of the scope of Google Ads API
support team.

With regards to your concern, we don't have the direct email address or phone
number of their team. In line with this matter, I recommend reaching out again
to Google Ads API Compliance team by this form (Link below), and selecting the
option “I'm waiting to hear back about my API application! Help!” under the
‘What is your issue? *’ when you submit the form.

However, if you still don't receive a response from the Google Ads API
Compliance team, then can you provide us with the following details below? This
is for us to be able to raise this concern with the rest of the team.

MCC ID (for the requested developer token)
Case ID (if there is any generated)

RE: get customer id - php v13 google ads

2023-05-04 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Jessica,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For our team to further check this and provide you with an appropriate
recommendation, could you please provide us with the complete API logs (request
and response with request-id) generated on your end?

request :
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/field-service#request
response:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/field-service#response
request-id :
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/call-structure#request-id

Note that logs can be requested or provided to the developer handling the
Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled.

This is the specific guideline to enable PHP:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs/php/logging

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Best regards,

Google Ads API Team

generateKeywordHistoricalMetrics Not returning aggregateMetricResults

For the end point

Are there any restrictions?

can we get devices data for 5,000 keywords at a time, or only one keyword

RE: target country code for a campaign

2023-05-04 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising your concern to the Google Ads API forum.

I understand that you'd like to retrieve the location field, specifically the
2-letter country code. With this, you can refer to this document:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v13/campaign_criterion,
specifically the field campaign_criterion.proximity.address.country_code:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v13/campaign_criterion#campaign_criterion.proximity.address.country_code:~:text=False-,campaign_criterion.proximity.address.country_code,-Field%20description

Let me know if you have any question.
