OAuth 2.0 hangout and/or screencast please, for PHP Client Library developers

2012-11-13 Thread Pianoman
Dear Google Adwords API Team,

As you are recommending we start authenticating using OAuth 2.0, could you
(Eric Koleda for example) please either organise a hangout and/or create a
screencast, explaining how to go about OAuth 2.0 authentication using the
PHP Client Library?

The only PHP Client Library screencast help I can see online is
herehttp://youtube.googleapis.com/v/Idvia4600_E,
but that's pretty dated now.

I am unfamiliar with OAuth 2.0.
For now I am sticking to the deprecated authentication system, but would
like to migrate to OAuth 2.0.

Regards,

Paul

GetClientCustomerId.php unable to obtain ID for sandbox account

2012-02-24 Thread Pianoman
The v201109 API now requires putting the account ID in the header rather
than the email.
I want to use the sandbox to test some code, so I need the ID of the
sandbox accounts.

I am using the PHP client libraries.
I am specifically using example program: GetClientCustomerId.php
This program works fine with live accounts.

However, I am struggleing to obtain the ID of sandbox accounts.
I am getting the following error message:

An error has occurred: QuotaCheckError.INVALID_TOKEN_HEADER @ ;
trigger:'135520407935'

What Client ID should I use?

2011-01-07 Thread Pianoman
Hi all,

I am trying to log into this Java tool using my sandbox credentials,
but it is failing.

The tool is working fine for production accounts when launched from
the cmd line using
java -jar sandbox-account-viewer-1.2.0.jar -enable-production
and I type in one of our clients' Client ID.

What I am supposed to type into the Client ID field when running as
sandbox?

Kind regards,
--
Paul.

 Hi Arthur,

The Sandbox Account Viewer works against the sandbox environment,
which doesn't use production credentials or accounts.  More
information about the sandbox environment is available here:

  Hi Eric,

I just tried to use the Sandbox Account Viewer, but can not login. I
tried using my Google Account which is connected to MCC. I tried the e-
mail address which I used to get my developer token. I tried to use my
  own client-ID (MCC client-ID) and I tried a client-ID of one my
customers. All combinations generate a Authentication Error_customer
  not found.

Could you provide any documentation online, and for usability in the
application, to help noobs like me to decide what the application
  needs?

In a PM I will sent you the two used e-mail adresses and client-ID's.

  Cheers,

  Arthur

   Hi All,

Additionally there is an open source application called the Sandbox
Account Viewer that allows you to view the raw data from your sandbox
   account:

    http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/wiki/SandboxAccountV...

It doesn't support editing of the account, but it can be a good way to
visualize the data returned by the API.

Hi all,

One of the biggest obstacles when developing against AdWords API is
inability to view/edit sandbox content using some GUI. If anybody
needs it, we have developed GUI application (PPC Manager) that can be
used
for that purpose:http://www.ppcma.com/

In order to run it, you need Windows machine with .NET Framework.
PPC Manager will work with sandbox of any size
and will show campaigns, ad groups, ads and criteria.

Let me know if you find our app useful, or if you
have any ideas for improvement.
