Re: Click Performance Report

2014-01-10 Thread VijayRaj Chauhan
Hi Josh,

Thanks for the explanation.

I want to know how the click is performed on the deleted ads? Those ads are
deleted long back, and I believe it should not be returned when I download
click performance report now...Let me know if I am wrong..

VijayRaj

Re: API to get list of Pending Invitations

2013-08-22 Thread VijayRaj Chauhan
Hi Anash,

In adwords account there is an option to invite other users as well. Is
there is an api to get the "Account Access Level" for the authenticated
user?? I tried using *ManagedCustomerService *and also* CustomerService *api
but none of them tells whether the logged in user has a Standard access or
Read-Only access or Administrator access.

TIA,
VijayRaj

Re: OAuth - didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd ask

2013-01-08 Thread VijayRaj Chauhan
Hi,

I have been using Google Adwords API for sometime now but couldn't find any
solution for the couple of questions ...

1) Is it possible to get the list of modified campaigns after a given date
(without using download API) ? I searched in forums but was not able

to find any solution and also tried setting DateRange selector but that
didn't help either

2) How to get the currency of the Cost and Average CPC. Right now I am
using
  *campaign.getCampaignStats().getAverageCpc().getMicroAmount()*
Dividing this value to 100 gives the actual value, but the currency
is still unknown ...

Any help or pointers will be grateful:)

TIA,
VijayRaj

Hi Kevin,

OAuth2 authentication is now working fine for javaWIth that token how
do I get the current users account information ??. I referred to the
GetAccountHierarchy.java example but it returns all the client emails as
well as mcc account emails. For e.g, if MCC_1 account is linked to MCC
account, running GetAccountHierarchy.java on MCC account will give the
result for MCC as well as MCC_1 account...How do I know which is the

Re: API usage costs

2012-07-04 Thread VijayRaj Chauhan
Hi Daniel,

I want to get the list of all keywords and its other information like
MaxCpc CpcBidSource, KeywordText, Cost, Clicks, Impressions etc...I am
following the example given here
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201109/GetAllAdGroupCriteria.java.

While doing so, I found that it takes long time to get the response when
there are say more than 10,000 keywords...Following this
method doesn't seem to be cost effective either...Can you please let me
know if there is any other alternative which is quicker and consume less
api units??

TIA,
VijayRaj

Hi Daniel,

I am using *CampaignServiceInterface *to get the list of campaigns along
with the 10 selector fields. Can you please let me know how the api units
is calculated for this request?? Does it depends on the no. of selector
fields requested or the no. of campaigns returned??

TIA,

{keyword} parameter gives you the exact search query typed into Google or a
word which is there in your AdGroup? From what I know, it gives the word
which the user have searched in Googlelet me know if I am wrong...

Re: api for getting info using gclid

2012-04-25 Thread Vijayraj Chauhan
Hi Kevin,

Using {keyword} parameter we can get the word which was searched by the
user. But how to get the exact keyword from the AdGroup which triggered the
Ads.

For e.g. I am running a Adgroup by name *Project Management *and keywords
associated with this are *project, project **management app* *, *and *project
web app.*
*
*
Now the user have searched for, say *project app *and my ad was displayed.*
*How do I know that my ad was displayed from the keyword *project
management app *or *project web app.*
*
*
TIA,
Vijayraj

Re: OAuth - didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd ask

2012-04-09 Thread Vijayraj Chauhan
Hi Kevin,

The example link which you provided for OAuth 1.0a works fine. However
looking at the example it seems we still have to pass the clientId even
after authenticating..Just the authtoken is not enough to get the campaign
info ??

>From where can I download the jar files for the latest java client
library..This link http://code.google.com/p/google-api-ads-java/ just
contains the example programs??

TIA,
Vijayraj

Re: How to create sandbox account using Java Client

2011-12-12 Thread Vijayraj Chauhan
Hi Kevin,

Using GetAccountHierarchy example still gives the clientCustomerId as 0 for
all the five sandbox accounts.

While trying with the GetClientCustomerId example, I get an error as *
ApiUsageError.INVALID_DATE_RANGE*
*
*
Here is the code from that example which I am using...

 * InfoSelector selector = new InfoSelector();
>   selector.setApiUsageType(ApiUsageType.UNIT_COUNT_FOR_CLIENTS);
>   String today = new SimpleDateFormat("MMdd").format(new Date());

> com.google.api.adwords.v201109.cm.DateRange(today,today));
>   selector.setClientEmails(clientEmails);
>   selector.setIncludeSubAccounts(true);*

And the SOAP response goes like this

*AxisFault*
* faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server*
* faultSubcode: *
* faultString: [ApiUsageError.INVALID_DATE_RANGE @ selector.dateRange]*

Re: How to create sandbox account using Java Client

Hi Danial,

I have created a sandbox account using the v201101 and have five
clientEmail associated with it. I was able to use the adwords api by
passing clientEmail to the AdWordsUser. But now i have migrated to v201109
and since it does not take clientEmail as the arguement, i have to pass the
clientId along with it. Can u please tell me how to get clientId for these
five emails associated with my sandbox account. I have gone through all the
forums and still could not find any solution or code to get the clientId
for these emails.
I am working on Java client library.

Any pointers regarding this will be helpful.

2011-11-04 Thread Vijayraj Chauhan
Hi Kevin,

I have been following adwords api blog for a while now and thus noticed
that the updated versions of all the client libraries have been
released...:) However i was unable to find any examples regarding the
authentication using OAuth for the Java Client Library.

I have the access token but i don't know how to use this token to call
Adwords API so that I can get the information for that particular user. As
in the case of Google Docs API we had something like...

DocsService client = new DocsService
("yourCompany-YourAppName-v1");
client.setOAuthCredentials
(oauthParameters,
 new OAuthHmacSha1Signer
());

It will really be helpful if you provide a sample code or any pointers for
OAuth authentication using Java.

TIA,
Vijayraj

How to create sandbox account using Java Client

2011-09-21 Thread Vijayraj Chauhan
Hi,

I am completely new to the Adwords API and I really need help. I have gone
through all the forums but i am not able to find the solution.
I want to create sandbox account for my MCC account(no billing information
provided yet).
As said in this link http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/sandbox.html, i
send a get request to the following url https://adwords*-sandbox*
.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201008/CampaignService with the following
request header:
*authToken *got from AuthToken authToken = new AuthToken(email, password);
*developerToken = *emailId++currency
*userAgent = "*any_string*"*
*
*
I am using Java client library and have downloaded adwords-api-8.3.1.tar.

Can anyone please help me where i have went wrong and how to start with it.

Thanks in Advance
Vijayraj
