Just finished watching the function (on youtube - various links available). It
was great musical function... missed ARR there (he wasnt present in last year's
mirchi music awards either), but one thing is sure, if he was present, he would
have gotten tired just like Prasoon Joshi did after going to stage numerous
times LOL
Masakali Delhi-6 swept just everything!!
Performances were great! Usha Uthup performed on Jaane Tu title track (must
watch for people who didnt get to watch her perform during Jai Ho concert).
Rekha Bhardwaj performed live for the first time!! Her acceptance speech of
female voclalist award was very sweet.
.. many other singers of industry like Kavita Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik,
Suresh Wadkar, Richa Sharma etc were present as well.

Yup ARR was not present , Prasoon Joshi and Rakeysh Mehra collected the award
instead but the video was shown where ARR stated that he is in Los Angeles
now so couldn't attend the award function and thanked Prasoon and Rakeysh for
