Thanks for that. I was attempting to avoid a table walk and use of a refresh 
button but had to apply both.

Hi Mark,

You shouldn't need to refresh unless it has never been refreshed prior.
Depending on the table field setting a refresh can disturb your selection
and even fire workflow.You should be able to kick off the count on row
select I would expect but it would be best to not refresh each time if you
can avoid it.
