Re: quantizing in reaper.
Re: quantizing in reaper. Also, highhat rolls and cymbal rolls in general are, I'll not say always, but probably 99.99 percent of the time technically done as a time dependent roll. Since the stick doesn't get much rebound on a metal surface, you can at most get two or three bounces per stick before it tapers off and the others just sound weak. Most realistically, you are best doing 32nd notes or 16th note triplets in most cases. Re: quantizing in reaper.
Re: quantizing in reaper. hi,I would actually recommend learning to insert fast hihat rolls on the midi editor itself. It's just not humanly possible to play such speedy rhythms without going out of time. This will also help you when you need to make vilossity-dependent snair rolls as wel as hihat ones and when you need to pitch them up and down you definitely want to know how to do this.a guide is here which you should immediately take a look into and then contact me on skype at wildblindt...@outlook.com if you have further questions, I'll be happy to answer. Re: quantizing in reaper.
Re: quantizing in reaper. If you want fast hat rolls, select the smallest beat grid division with ctrl+shift+ number row, or just number row if you're in the MIDI editor. Then hit ctrl+shift+q to quantize (q in the MIDI editor). quantizing in reaper.
quantizing in reaper. ok, so, I don't have grate rhythm, so I use quantize. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work.so, lets just say I am making a hi hat pattern and I wanted some of the hats to role. how would I do this in reaper? because every time I try this, I fail.thanks URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/608435/#p608435 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
