The cross-arm-none-eabi-newlib package was then built using the cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base package, which is no longer needed because my PKGBUILD does a combined source tree build, where the compilation of newlib is integrated with the GCC autotools build. Please remove the no longer needed cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base and cross-arm-none-eabi-newlib packages. Thanks! The upstream has switched to git. And the two packages are maintained by the same user. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rsibreak-svn/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rsibreak-git/

Re: [aur-general] Deletion request: a few random packages
I just noticed the librest-git repository has been moved to github. Maybe we shouldn't be so trigger-happy with the delete button. Being orphaned or having a change in the download url is not enough reason to delete a package. Packages that don't build may need to be updated or patched. -Andreas On Thu, Nov 29, 2012 at 7:08 AM, Felix Yan felixonm...@gmail.com wrote: On 11/29/2012 07:56 PM, Jekyll Wu wrote: All packages below are orphaned. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/billreminder-svn/svn repo gone https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/taglib-gio/ tarball gone, upstream seems dead https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnet1tarball gone https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gromit fail to build https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gssdp-devel tarball gone https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gupnp-ui tarball gnoe https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/online-desktop fail to build https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/jana-git fail to build https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/librest-git git repo gone Regards Jekyll All removed, thanks. -- Felix Yan Twitter: @felixonmars Wiki: http://felixc.at
[aur-general] [Package Removal Request]
Greetings, I'd like to ask for the removal of the following AUR packages: lxinput-gtk3: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lxinput-gtk3/lxtask-gtk3: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lxtask-gtk3/lxterminal-gtk3: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lxterminal-gtk3/ Thank you for your attention,D.B. (3V0LU710N) p.s.: [Offtopic] Maybe this is not the right place to ask this, but I'd like to suggest the compilation of lxde packages with gtk3 instead of gtk2... =) [most of them seem to work properly, with the exception of lxterminal, which gives a bug when tabs are closed]. There have to be someone updating or patching such a package but in fact, there haven't been one, for long, and we donno even if anyone is still using it, that's the enough reason for at least me to delete it. If anyone would pick it up, they could still add it back and it's not hard, thanks to the simplicity of pacman. -- Felix Yan Twitter: @felixonmars Wiki: http://felixc.at signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
