So glad you were able to find something, Caroline! More people need to
check out those records, a gold mine for sure! Kathy and Susan put in a lot
of time and effort so that we wouldn't have to order the microfilm and just
have it at our fingertips!

[AZORES-Genealogy] Sao Pedro Ponta Delgada 1883 baptism Amancio da Silva

2017-04-24 Thread bsei2816

Amancio, #131, left side. I wish all records were this legible; but even
so, there are two words I just can’t figure out. First two words of line 13
(between Jose da Silva, Sapateiro - and – natural da freguesia).

I appreciate any help on these words. Thanks.

This one has given me quite the headache, not only in trying to locate him
(this is my 3rd time looking through these books) but in trying to read the
writing among the bleeding ink. I believe this is my maternal 2x
great-grandfather but the cursive “F” is looking a lot like “P” so I am
unsure. Any help in breaking this brick wall with me will be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks!

Joanne

This is Jose Son of Manuel Pacheco de Medeiros and Francisca ? Vicencia. Those
swirling capital letters are tough.
