Michael Herger;268307 Wrote: color=blue] I meant: have you been able to access SC7 before trying to shut it down? If it wasn't running, then it can't be shut down :-). Sorry; misunderstood. Yes; I can connect to players, scan music, play music, play internet radio, etc. Just can't shut down from tray icon. can you telnet localhost 9090 from the command line, and get a clean, black rectangle? No; get message Could not open connection to the host... I can telnet to 9000, 10002 (MusicIP head). Did some poking around; can't figure out what's blocking the port. Don't see anything in group policy settings in registry (I'm running SC on my company-issued laptop); Windows firewall is off (by group policy); see settings in Windows firewall exceptions listing for SqueezeCenter 9000 tcp and SqueezeCenter 3483 udp. (For grins; not knowing if it was even a correct setting, I tried adding a 9090 each way; no affect.) -- AGiLiT AGiLiT's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12583 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43360 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta

Running SqueezeCenter 2/11 nightlies (although this problem cropped up when I switched to v.7). When I try to stop SC from the system tray icon, I get a pop-up SqueezeCenter error window with the message: Stopping SqueezeCenter Failed. Please see the Event Viewer contact support.
