Re: [Blind-Computing] links in e-mail in the jaws 8 update

2007-10-09 Thread David Griffith
Hello

Insert V will I believe only institute a temporary change.

To enact permanent changes you need to go into configuration manager.

To do this you need to press Insert F2 and cursor down once to Configuration
manager.

If I understand the problem right links are not being read properly in HTML
emails. I have not had this problem as I use plain text emails in Outlook
which work fine for me. Pressing enter within a link executes it fine even
in plain text. You have to ensure that your cursor is on the actual address
rather than the http prefix though at least on my setup.

However if using html in your situation I would go to configuration manager
and them into the set options menu. Alt s will take you straight there.

>From memory I believe html options are the second menu item.

This will have several tabs so you may have to press control tab to get to
the links tab page.

Here are many link options. I would experiment with changing one at a time
saving and them seeing if the problem persists. I am afraid I do not have
time to replicate your problem and give more detailed advice.

It might be worth a try though.

Regards

David Griffith
