[cayugabirds-l] Falconry Help requested
Hi, I'm writing for a friend who is working with Cornell's Adult University (CAU) Youth Program this summer. Their Explorers group is studying Medieval History. The Explorers Camp is for children ages 7-8. Each camp group meets for one week. Heidi is looking for a falconer to give a brief demo and talk and perhaps answer a few questions about falconry. The whole session would last no more than an hour. Ideally this would be on a Tuesday or Thursday morning once a week for 4 weeks in July. (It wouldn't have to be the same person for all 4 weeks if that's too much of a commitment. It could be a cooperative effort :) Any questions or ideas? Please contact Heidi directly at h...@cornell.edu Thanks, Laurie -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --

[cayugabirds-l] White-Eyed vireo still present at Sapsucker Woods
Seen this morning from the Sherwood Platform along with Kinglets and Rusty Blackbirds. One of the RC Kinglets was seriously punked out with the most visible red crest I've ever seen, in the early morning sunlight it glowed:-) Happy spring, Laurie Ray -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
