okay, there's got to be some SQL going from CF to the database driver... either an insert into or an update. Check to make sure that the variable you're updating in the database is the propper type for what CF is trying to put there. what is the code for the query? I'd guess that it's either a Where problem or a variable reference problem. man, i had that same error about 3-4 weeks ago... i was playing with a small access database and then one day every insert to one table came back with this error... i couldn't figure it out, i built a new table and transferred the data and relationships over and whola! it worked... i still have no clue except somehow it was a problem with accessing that one specific table..
