[Chat] How to stop unwanted Sun Plus ad delivery
The information on how to stop unwanted Sun Plus deliveries was first emailed to those on the CVCA Email distribution (sign up on the CVCA webstie to receive emails - front page, scroll down on the left hand side) after I called The Sun and asked how to do it after receiving complaints from CVCA members. I have requested using the same instructions I have given out and was successful but it took one additional delivery for them to stop. I also received email confirmation of my request. You can either request via phone or email - details are on the CVCA website in the Holiday 2010 issue of the Charles Villager on page 3 above the Gertrude's ad. Or just click on the link: http://charlesvillage.net/villager/V-holiday-10.pdf to go to the page directly. Such a trash problem - I wish more people would call in/e-mail to cancel if they really don't want them. Thanks for the reminder Judi. Re: [Chat] [Discussion] sun plus
What I am about to say may be against many opinions, but the SunPlus paper sustains local jobs in the community. It does not hurt the environment, because it is printed on re-cycled paper. It helps the local economy by featuring businesses and organizations in the Baltimore area--not businesses from other states or other countries like the Internet does. Think of it as junk mail if you will, but it helps the working class during these tough economic times. Happy New Year Richard Burnham (an environmentally conscious printer in Charles Village). Send the Sun Circulation Manager a letter by certified mail telling them you will have the delivery person charged with tresspassing if the deliveries continue. If they don't enter your property it is littering. Re: [Chat] sun plus
My neighbors and I have called and emailed several times to cancel the Sun Plus, no luck. Re: [Chat] [Discussion] sun plus
We still get ours even though we cancelled our Sun subscription months ago. I think that the Sun makes money off of it by telling advertisers "Sun Plus has X many subscribers" so it's not exactly in their interest to cancel these deliveries. jf On Jan 8, 2011, at 1:22 PM, Jonathan Wetmiller wrote: > Call 888-539-1280 or sunplusserv...@baltsun.com. > > Good luck. Call 888-539-1280 or sunplusserv...@baltsun.com. Good luck. I've tried to stop them at least 3 times, and even threatened to cancel my Sun subscription, but still regularly receive them.
