[Chevelle-list] Merry Christmas From The War on Terror

2005-12-25 Thread Ringlein Thomas J Capt 40 ELRF/CC

I just wanted to spread some holiday cheer from the hot,
sandy, and tropical B-52 launching pad in the Indian ocean. I
can't give much for gifts this year - but I am working on serving
up Usama Bin Laden on a large silver platter for you all. We are close,
wish us luck.

I will be home in 3 weeks to start the Chevelle project -
wish me luck.

Merry Christmas y'all.

Congratulations, I'm counting the days till I get to spend full time in my shop
and get out of the rat race. That has to be the best Christmas present anyone
could have.

Merry Christmas from another OKIE
by transplant! Im retiring December 31 from civil service after 31.5
years so my finances will take a cut as well and the Elky may take a bit longer
to do unless I can find something else in the area in the computer field.

May even try my hand at doing web pages
for Chevelle owners if anyone is interested.

What's the most likely gear ratio(s) from the factory on a 70 El Camino
 with a 350sbc (non SS, TH350 trans)?

 Thanks!

3.55's were a pretty rare ratio. The car would probably have 3.08's or the
2.73's,as someone else mentioned.

The 2 12 bolts I am familiar with both had 2.73 open gears.
