[Chevelle-list] Bumper Rechroming - nonChevelle
I was wondering if anyone out there had any good advice on where to get some bumpers rechromed. If this was a Chevelle, I'd buy new bumbers and be done with it, but nobody makes bumbers for this car - a 51 Buick. Since I'm in MD, I'd prefer an east coast place so I can either drive the bumpers to or have them shipped to as cheaply as possible. Re: [Chevelle-list] Bumper Rechroming - nonChevelle
Every time I ask that question, I'm told Tri-City Plating in TN. I know it's not that close to you, but it's not really that far away. http://tricityplating.com/ I looked at some repop bumpers for my Chevelle and decided to get originals from Tri-City. They cost more (mainly because I don't have cores) but the chrome also comes with a lifetime warranty. I figure it's worth the extra cost. [Chevelle-list] 66 Chevelle Bucket Seats for sale
I have had these stored for 10 years. I was told they were 66 Chevelle SS seats, might fit 66 GTO others. I read the 66 was one year only. They have the metal backs, they need foam covers, the springs are like new, slides work. I may put them on Ebay someday, but I will not ship them. They have to be picked up in Dallas, TX. $225.00 firm . Pics, here: http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=4264468a=32568641f=
