The great thing about this list is the fact that members are allowed to express non-Chevelle topics. As a software developer, I belong to many lists. None of these lists will allow something even close to off-topic. The moderators will not post these messages to the list, and will often suspend you from there list as punishment. Hats off the Chevelle List owners and the 1st amendment. It is great to see the younger generation interested in muscle cars. 5 years ago when I asked my then 15 year old Daughter what new car she wanted for her 16th birthday, she replied, 'I would rather have a 69 Chevelle than any new car available'. Two days later, we have a 69 Chevelle setting in the garage. It is setup in full race gear (no heater, lights, interior, etc.). It took her, her little sister, my wife and I a year to get it streetable and every kid in school wanted to buy it, no way! Two years later, I had to buy here a new car to get the Chevelle back. Buying one finished can be monetarily cheaper, but by no means emotionally cheaper. I have many friends driving and bragging about their 2001-2002 Corvettes. I could also buy a Vette and cruise around and see 10 more just like it every day. I choose to continually work on my '69' and have not seen a duplicate yet. I have remove the virus from many systems using NAV 2002 and it will quarantine or delete the files if you run it while the computer is in 'SAFE' mode. Does anyone know of a site where I can download ACAD or other drawings of a BB chevy and a TH400 Tranny? I also need the dimension's of each. (engine length, shorttail tranny length, tranny centerline to of bellhousing, tranny centerline to bottom of pan) Thanks, Bob Hiller
