Re: [Chevelle-List] Checking engine oiling
If you use the correct priming tool, you should get oil to the top of all rockers. Without the tool, the oil will only go to one side. A correct tool will direct oil to both sides. rick -Original Message- From: "Keith Cooper" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 19 Nov 2001 08:39:29 -0500 To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Chevelle-List] Checking engine oiling > I am wanting to check the oiling of my engine because I have had some camshaft >problems. Re: [Chevelle-List] Exhaust Question Headers
Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List I used doug thorley header on my 72 (same/similar to 70 ) and had minimal problems. The place I bought them from, sent me a welded bracket for the A/C. It is much more sturdy than the "bent sheet metal" brackets that you can buy at almost any parts store. Its been many years, but at that time I called thorley & they gave me the name of a distributor. Now summit or jegs or both sell thorley. They have reasonable prices on all headers. Also I know someone who swears by Dynomax headers for a 70. In summit, there ceramic coated headers (the ONLY way to go IMHO) for about $215.00 Last month I got a set for my camaro. Also check dynomax.com for rebate info. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Thu Jun 28 20:07:16 PDT 2001 Subject: [Chevelle-List] Exhaust Question Headers > > > Hey Guys > > I'm wondering if anyone has installed headers on there 70 Chevelle small >block 350 with an automatic transmission that had air conditioning if so was >there a problem with the a/c brackets. Re: Re: [Chevelle-List] Got the itch
Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List Also some good online info at http://links.chevelles.net/links In the WorkShop area there are 3 or 4 sites devoted to the tall spindle conversion. Also in the general info area the "Online Chevelle Interchange Page" has some good stuff , including aftermarket part #'s. I've printed and read & re read these pages as I prepare to install the GW arms - If they are there when I get home. -Original Message- From: "Bodolosky, Darin (MLIM)"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu Jun 28 09:57:31 PDT 2001 Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] Got the itch > >Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List > > >everyone has been talking about Global West..
