Michael,
I have also heard some stories about headers interfering with the control
arm used to lock the steering wheel on 4 speed cars. Not sure if it will
affect you, but it might help someone.

trans?

If you're at all interested in the Dynomax headers, please read this.
I spoke with the company that manufactures these headers. They will
soon be discontinued for the '68/'69 Chevelle due to problems with how
they fit. They actually recommended that I not buy their headers, and
that I should look for another brand. Apparently they hit the frame
and/or the firewall.
I'm ordering a set of Hookers from Jet-Hot using the Team Chevelle
discount.
take care,

Can anyone confirm that the headers listed in the Jeg's catalog (part #
289-86110) will work with a manual trans in a '69?
I had a set of Hookers that wouldn't fit, and am trying to do a little
better research this time! :-)
The issue was that a header tube and the clutch linkages (z bar) wanted
to be in the same place.
Thanks!
