Yes Hooker has one with 13/4”, If I recall correct, part no is 2116. Is sounds tempting
with stainless though

Not sure 1 3/4" tubes are
available,Hans. 1 5/8" would work fine, though. Hooker might have what
you're looking for.

Hi Clint

I am looking for a pair
of headers for a 71 Camino. SBC and I need 1 ¾” due to the charger. Until
now I didn’t thought stainless steel was an option. But if you know
some…

Hi
again,

I really
wanted something bigger but Scott there answered that they wouldnt offer
anything else than 1 5/8"

I
totally agree that 1 5/8" are right for a 350, but my later
plans include a much bigger sbc (434 or 454cid) so if they offered 1
7/8" I'd go for that right away to avoid buying another set a a later time
even if that would cost some tq right now.

Maybe Al
offered to build a set for you because you know him ??

Se below
for the Q's &A's:

1 Do
you have any small block Chevelle headers with bigger primary tubes than 1
5/8"? SORRY THE 1.625”
PRIMARIES ARE ALL WE HAVE TO OFFER.

2 Do
you offer any other style of flange style than the leakprone 3bolt style
(slip-on style with band clamp or something like Burns v-band)? SLIP-FIT STYLE IS AVAILABLE.

3 Do
you supply the cones with flanges that are to be welded to the
exhaust system toghether with the headers? NO

4 How
thick are the flanges that are to be mounted on the engine? 0.375” THICK

5 If
I were to upgrade the headers to 18deg heads at a later time could I just
change the engine flanges or would I need a complete new header? YOU WOULD HAVE TO MAKE THAT CALL, WE COULD SUPPLY YOU WITH THE
FLANGES WHEN THEN TIME COMES.

6 Do
the headers have equal lenght primary tubes? NO THEY ARE NOT EQUAL LENGTH, SEE ATTACHED PICTURE.

thanks!

Have Fun
André

Stainless Works will build their
headers with 1 5/8", 1 3/4", or 1 7/8" primaries. 1 5/8"
tubes would be my preference for my 350.

Talk to Al Noe,the owner.

Hooker also builds some of their
headers now in stainless. If I ever switch to stainless headers,Stainless Works
will be the ones I use.
