RE: [Passwd]How to change passwd

2000-11-21 Thread Akinmade, Adetola (KNMD)

Are you using an NT system?

A common problem is that NT systems dont usually respond to the CTRL+BREAK
command.
I think it is a registry issue.

Try and perform the command from a Windows 98 or 95 system.

The book is okay,
would also advice you to try out the commands on a router and a switch..
Go through the book and know your frame relay and ATM well.

 when troubleshooting, I
typed show interface for a serial interface,
The output shows

RE: CIT Book Suggestions

2000-10-27 Thread Akinmade, Adetola (KNMD)

I will advise you to go through the cisco book inside out.
pay attention to the appendix section, you might just be suprised at the
questions that can come from that section.
These sections are also worth paying attention to: ISDN,Frame-relay and
switches.
Also play around with your troubleshooting commands.

RE: Is it a just a myth??? (CCIE w/out CCNP)

2000-07-05 Thread Akinmade, Adetola (KNMD)

It is all in the mind,
I think it depends on the individual i.e do you have the experience and what
it takes to understand the concepts and pass the exams ?
Another point is that taking this exams as modules allow you to know some
finer details about the technology you will be working with in the real
world
It actually depends on you.
just some thoughts
