Re: wrong subnet

2001-01-15 Thread cgs

Hello Dennis,
There is absolutely no issue with having the said IP Address, Netmask and
gateway. The subnet in this particular case is 10.1.244.0, The Valid host
address range is 10.1.244.1 to 10.1.245.254. The broadcast address for this
subnet will be 10.1.245.255.

Hi,
Maybe there are many out there who need guidance to face an Interview with a
positive outlook. Could you please tell which Publication, who is the Author
etc. of this "Sweaty Palms"?

Serial interface goes up and down

2000-12-19 Thread cgs

Hi all,

I am facing a similar problem. The Serail link s0 changes state. I noticed a
pattern. The line protocol is up for 10 secs and
down for next 20 secs and the loop contnues. Could anyone throw some light on
what could be the possible reasons for this. All replies are thankfully
acknowledged in advance.

Re(2): A challenge

I guess the netmask for host A is wrongly given as 255.255.255.0 instead of
255.0.0.0
