PlEASE Help!!

2000-10-24 Thread net974 at Yahoo

Hi,

I'm facing a strange problem with my router (2621),I'have
two leased WAN links, 512 & 128 kbps.

ISP-1 s0/0  fa0/0
--|
|LAN1

|   |
ISP2   |
router|
--|
|LAN2

s0/1   fa0/1

IP address:
for s0/0:  100.x.x.1
for fa0/0 : 100.x.x33

for s0/1:  200.x.x.1
for fa0/1 : 200.x.x33

now problem is that: I want my LAN1 traffic go out
by S0/1 interface.
when i try traceroute from LAN1 then it took more
then 600 ms from fa0/0 to s0/1 next hop. the same thing from LAN2 took less then
10ms.

Waht could be the reason of this, and how I can solve
this.

Thanks

  What
type of links are they?  What type of business are you running?  You
could fit the bill for BGP, but it depends on some other
  factors.

Line Protocol is Down.

2000-09-27 Thread net974 at Yahoo

Hi,

I'm facing a problem in my router that it shows
Line protocol is down but same time serial is up.

I tried with loopback on modem, but problem
does not solve. But when I try to do these thing with other port then everything
goes well.

Is this problem of Hardware? or misconfiguration of
that port ?

Is there any command through which I can remove the
configuration of that port ?

TIA
