*Role : SAP Basis Admin*

*Location : Washington, DC*

Min 4 years experience SAP supporting production systems: ERP, BW and or
Portal. Oracle DBA for SAP and Linux/Unix experiance is a must.

• SAP Netweaver Enterprise ERP, BW and Portal Systems Administration,
including systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Configuration, security and management of Enterprise Portal

• Support the application teams in troubleshooting of problems in SAP ABAP
& Java development and production systems

• Support SAP XI and IBM MQ messaging infrastructure

• Daily monitoring of System Performance

• Daily monitoring and investigation of the System Log for unusual
activities/errors/warnings.

• Application of Support Packages as agreed to by the organization’s
business stakeholders

• Client copies and/or refreshes as agreed to by the organization’s
business stakeholders

• Troubleshooting analysis of application problems within the Functional
and Development streams

• Application of Java kernel upgrades

• Serve as liaison to software vendors

• Maintain current and accurate documentation of systems configuration and
operational processes

• Participate in the On Call rotation in support of development and
production systems

• Follow ITIL processes for incident management, change management and
problem management

• Compliance with ISO 2 and ISO 27001 standard processes

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Education:  Not mentioned

• Role Specific Experience: 2 – 4 years relevant experience as a SAP Basis
Netweaver Administrator in managing SAP Production systems

*Required Skills/Abilities:*

• Familiarity with SAP Basis tasks in AIX environment is required

• SAP Netweaver system administration certification is a plus

• Good understanding of the SAP Enterprise Portal, JDI framework and SAP
web systems is required

• Familiarity with Wily Introscope in root cause analysis of SAP EP systems
is a plus

• Familiarity with Open Text IXOS is a plus

• Familiarity with SAP XI messaging infrastructure is a plus

• Relevant experience in use of ITIL processes

• Relevant experience for SOX control compliance of critical financial
systems

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to work on flexible working hours including weekends

Desired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus): OS/DB migration
