I am sorry if it wasn't clear.

Is there anything else we should do here?

I also don't see any more errors. Thanks

Also I guess upgrade tests only run in Circle is enough as the latest changes
were test oriented and we had already clear Python DTest runs?

I see there were some commits to the DTest repo since 7th October when you ran
CI but it seems at most we should just run some of the changed tests locally to
ensure they are fine and move on to commit this patch. WDYT?

Thanks, I will be off for some time. As long as all branches pass on both CIs
with the new image from CASSANDRA-17854 I think I am +1 on this patch. I still
think it might have been easier to make a ccm patch but I understand it hides
its own risks and considerations and you are already at the finish line with
this one.

Something is still wrong, I can reproduce but it's nothing obvious, I'll look
more tomorrow.

Ensured I am on the latest jdk8 version locally and running now

pytest --execute-upgrade-tests-only --upgrade-target-version-only
--upgrade-version-selection all --log-level="DEBUG" --cassandra-dir=***
storage_engine_upgrade_test.py

So far no failures, I will report back and it completes and if everything is
fine I will move to Jenkins 3.11-trunk testing

They are properly skipped in Jenkins... I opened CASSANDRA-17912 for that

 and  [3.11|https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/ekaterinadimitrova2] -
there are a bunch of tests with this failure, but they shouldn't run there at
all, so different type of issue. And it happens only in CircleCI, those are
skipped in Jenkins. Not sure what the story is there. I've seen something like
that before and I thought there was a ticket but I cannot find it now.

All branches except trunk were done and from what I saw I don't think there are
other related to this patch issues. I decided to stop the trunk run as we do
not expect too many changes compared to 4.1. I
[pushed|https://ci-cassandra.apache.org/view/patches/job/Cassandra-devbranch/1944/]

There are a few more tests beyond 14766 too, but I've pushed an update for them
all.

It seems like _test_14766_ needs some attention too, but the rest passed. I
think if [~mck]  doesn't have anything against, we can test also the rest of
the branches and move on?

In your initial test with the current image there was nothing suspicious, one
known failed Python DTest - test_multiple_repair - CASSANDRA-17005

I started a CircleCI run
[here|https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra/1903/workflows/0e6edb77-be97-4485-9d34-8a774608d738]
for branch 3.0 with mid resource, your branch, the new image and also running
the Python DTests. Let's see how that will go.

Thanks, I guess then we also need to run the tests with the new image from the
other ticket but it seems to me this should work.
